Snow in December on Bainbridge Island. Neighbors challenged each other to a snowman contest.
The snow was difficult so we ended up pitching in and together made a snowwoman and snowchild.

Finally the sun is out and more and more neighbors are enjoying Ericksen Park. Even Russell Johnson, the Professor from Gilligan's Island, is a frequent Ericksen Park user!
On Saturday, April 26, 2008, cohousing and park neighbors gathered to dedicate Roberta Wilson's park bench and to afterwards plant nearly 100 new plants in the park.
Neighbor Roberta Wilson left this world on April 6, 2008. She, her husband Jeff, and Dova were friends of Ericksen Park.

On October 8, 2007, the 2nd Annual Ericksen Picnic was held. Musicians included Sam Weinstock, Nathaniel Buechler, Jeff Moore, and Mike Sciacca. Thanks to Norman Johnson for providing the sound system.
Every Monday at 7 PM, neighbors gather in Ericksen Park to share good food, good conversation, and soon good music.
Ericksen Park is located at the intersections of Ericksen/Wallace/Hildebrand. It serves the neighborhoods of Co-Housing, Blue Heron, Island Homestead Apartments, Meridian Condos, Madison Avenue Condos, and many other nearby residences.
